They've got three rooms; one on the ground floor and two "tree-houses." However, it's not exactly a house on top a tree-like one would imagine, but more of a top floor of a house where you can access by climbing this steel/wooden staircase.
We grabbed our room for just Rs. 1851 on booking.com, which makes it unbelievably wallet-friendly, especially during peak time. Featuring a spring mattress dressed in a clean, white sheet, they offer pillows and an extra bedsheet.
The room tends to get a bit warm during noon, so the stand fan helps. The other amenities in the room included a dresser, a chair, and a small cupboard. The bathroom was well-maintained, but didn't have a lot of elements; just soap and toilet papers.
However, the commode could get a bit clogged up after a few flushes. When that happens, call the owners, they're right downstairs.
As for our breakfast, they had prepared Milk Tea and Egg Sandwiches. It was a very simple, but homely breakfast. The bread was nicely toasted, and we're glad that they didn't skimp on the filling. There was a good amount of chopped up, boiled egg in them, seasoned with pepper and salt.
Milky and carrying a lot of kahata flavour, we enjoyed this tea as well.
This veranda was my favourite part of the room, especially because of the following view. I mean, how can one not fall in love with it? You get some excellent views in the evening; how the sky is painted with red and orange, while the fiery sun dives into the water, slowly and swiftly.
You're literally on the Boossa beach with unlimited access to it. Take a dip, a long walk or go on a few rounds on the tire swing; your experience here is incomplete without them.
We didn't get to talk to the owners much, but they were helpful with our breakfast and check-in process.
The in-room amenities here are pretty basic, but the fact that it's priced under Rs. 2000, and comes with not-so-bad breakfast is an undeniably sweet deal. If you're broke but still fancy a vacation in down south for a little me time, this is a good choice.
Like the famous Jetwing Lighthouse - but fancier.
